Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21, 1983. She is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. After her parents divorced, they moved together with their mother into Los Angeles. Even though she had financial difficulties and in the beginning, she made her acting debut acting as Rachel's Room's principal character. In 2002, she was awarded an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her portrayal in Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace went on to take home the award. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost in which she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons, and was awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. After leaving the show, Grace would like to be on film more frequently, having been cast as the opposite of Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She has appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 and in Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Her role was reprised as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to her role as Shannon in Lost and the final episode. The actress was featured in 2013's sixth season of Californication. The character she plays is Faith who is both an avid stargazer as well as a groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her.
